Created while working at Virti, these avatars were developed to look and move realistically. As part of the DEI board, I studied and received input on the characteristics and styles of each avatar. With limited development tools on non-white avatars, I made it my mission to discover and create new Unity shaders to best represent the complexity of hair and skin tones.
Avatar work is also featured at the Boston Museum of Science in their Exploring AI: Making the Invisible Visible exhibit.
